The Construction Lien Act was revised, updated and modernized and became the Construction Act as of July 1, 2018.
Since that time, the Construction Act has further evolved, and further amendments have come into force. The latest evolution and amendments introduced Prompt Payment and Adjudication creating a brand-new regime for construction projects in Ontario.
